CMS Members, Nancy Swartz, Dennis Murphy, and Woody & Judy Brooks speak about What (and Why) I Collect!
We see these friendly folks at virtually every meeting of the Cincinnati Mineral Society, and all have held offices; they are part of the “glue” that holds our Society together, and we count each as a special friend. Unlike some of us, they are mostly silent about their hobby interests. Our speakers talk about what interests them in Earth Sciences and may share samples as a show-and-tell. Learn more about hidden experiences, motivation, activities, interests of these seasoned rock hounds. Attendees are about to be impressed.
We consider making this an annual event: a big reveal behind the motivation and interests of our members.
While we start with veterans, newer members can find connections, make buddies with similar emerging interests or develop a new interest.
Walk up guests are most welcome at the meeting.
The program fit is for all ages.
